We’re looking for a Cloud Operations Analyst to join our team and take responsibility for supporting and developing Sense’s Microsoft Azure cloud estate, alongside our wider IT infrastructure.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced infrastructure professional who enjoys solving problems, improving systems and working with modern cloud technologies. You’ll also play an important role in IT projects, integrations and security improvements, working collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders to introduce new systems and ways of working.
What you’ll be doing
- Providing advanced technical support and managing escalated issues, particularly those relating to cloud services and infrastructure.
- Managing and troubleshooting our Microsoft Azure environment using PowerShell and other tools.
- Maintaining and supporting both cloud and on-premises infrastructure, ensuring systems remain secure, reliable and available.

- Maintaining effective backup solutions and supporting data integrity and availability.
- Working with colleagues to develop our cloud capabilities and share technical knowledge across the team.
- Creating and maintaining clear technical documentation covering infrastructure processes and configurations.
- Identifying opportunities to improve the efficiency, reliability and security of our infrastructure.
- Working collaboratively with teams across Sense to implement technology solutions that support our organisational objectives.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
