Cloud & AI Platforms Practice Manager

Location: Bristol / Hybrid


We're looking for an experienced Cloud & AI Platforms Practice Manager to lead a specialist team focused on Microsoft Azure and Cloud & AI solutions.

You'll be responsible for leading a team of 5 Cloud & AI specialists, driving growth across an established partner base and working closely with sales, technology and alliance teams to develop and execute the go-to-market strategy.

This is a commercial leadership role combining team management, partner engagement, sales strategy and Azure expertise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, develop and coach a team of Cloud & AI Platform specialists.
  • Own growth targets across Azure and associated Cloud & AI solutions.
  • Drive Azure adoption, cross-sell, pipeline growth and opportunity conversion.
  • Develop programmes and initiatives that help partners successfully take cloud solutions to market.
  • Support sales teams on larger and more complex opportunities.
  • Build strong relationships with Microsoft, partners and internal technology teams.
  • Develop and execute joint go-to-market and sales strategies.
  • Monitor pipeline, sales activity and commercial performance.
  • Manage margin, profitability and Azure consumption economics.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong experience within the Microsoft / Azure ecosystem, ideally from a Microsoft partner, CSP, MSP, VAR or similar environment.
  • Strong understanding of Azure core services, including Compute, Storage, Networking, Identity and Security.
  • Knowledge of Azure landing zones, governance and cloud architecture best practices.
  • Experience across Azure AI, Data & Analytics, Security and Modern Infrastructure workloads.
  • Previous experience leading a Cloud, Azure or technology sales/practice team.
  • Strong commercial understanding, including pipeline, revenue, margin and profitability.
  • Ability to identify and develop growth opportunities across an existing partner/customer base.
  • Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders, Microsoft teams and technical specialists.

Desirable

  • 5+ years' experience within the Microsoft channel.
  • Experience leading an Azure / Cloud practice.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft partner programmes and funding.
  • Experience across Microsoft Security technologies including Defender, Sentinel, Entra and Purview.
  • Microsoft AZ-700 or AZ-800 certification.
