🔐 Cloud Security Consultants | Active SC Needed

UK-wide | Hybrid working | £60,000–£100,000

We're recruiting Cloud Security Consultants at different levels for a global technology consultancy. Salaries range from approximately £60,000 to £100,000, depending on experience and seniority.

You may currently work in defence, government, national security or another regulated environment. You could be a Cloud Security Consultant, Security Architect or a cloud engineer who has moved deeply into security.

You can look beyond individual security tools and understand how cloud security decisions affect the wider organisation.

The work will involve helping clients answer questions such as:

  • How should we securely move a sensitive service into Azure, AWS or GCP?
  • What should the security architecture and operating model look like?
  • Where are the genuine risks within a proposed design?
  • How do we apply Secure by Design and Zero Trust in practice?
  • How should identity, networks, applications and data be protected?
  • Which controls are proportionate, and why are they needed?

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

This is not purely a SOC, vulnerability-management or infrastructure-support position. The team needs people who can take a wider view of security, challenge designs and explain the business impact of their recommendations.

Current and active SC clearance is essential. Candidates must also be sole UK nationals due to the nature of the client work.

The roles are available UK-wide. Home working and some travel to client site when required - a few times a month on average.

There is a straightforward two-stage interview process covering technical cloud security knowledge and its application within complex client environments.
