Role: Cloud Engineer
Location: Farnborough, Newcastle
Type: Inside IR35 Contract 06 Months +
Total maximum hourly rate: £60
Offering Build engineer who will get involved in implementing the Cloud solutions for the customer. The key responsibilities include:
- Creating Cloud landing zone
- Creating cloud formation templates for the base infrastructure
- Onboarding customer accounts to Service Now
- Onboarding cloud checker
- Enabling gold services
- Publishing standard and custom templates into SNOW catalog

Experience:
- Experience in system administration
- Coding experience
- Implement the cloud solutions through Infrastructure as code
Skills:
- Good knowledge in Cloud architecture, design, administration, and support experience
- Good knowledge in the services for not limited to:
- Cloud Security (IAM, Roles, Policies, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of all the components of the cloud stack and services offered
- VPC, Subnet, Route Table, Security Groups, NACL, VPG, etc
- SSM, Patch Manager
- Load Balancing, Auto Scaling, High Availability
- CloudFormation Template
- Cloud Vendor Costs and Pricing
- RDS setup and Configuration

Languages:
- Experience in any Languages: Python, Power shell, Bash, Node.JS, Javascript, etc.
Operating Systems:
- Excellent Administration experience in any Operating Systems (Windows 2012 R2, RHEL 6/7)
Network Protocols and Services:
- Understanding network protocols and services (DNS, HTTP(S), SSH, FTP, SMTP, DHCP, TCP/IP, etc)
