Role: Cloud Service Manager
Sector: Defence
Rate: £400 to £500 Inside IR35
Location: Corsham (1-2 days p/w)
Duration: End of March 2027 (initially)
Nationality: Sole British
iO are seeking an experienced Service Management Consultant to join a Defence programme in Corsham.
The role will focus on designing, implementing and continually improving ITIL-aligned service management processes within a cloud-based environment, working closely with suppliers, operational teams and customer stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and improve ITIL service management processes across Incident, Change, Problem, Service Request and Knowledge Management.
- Drive Continual Service Improvement (CSI).
- Support cloud-based and multi-supplier service environments.
- Manage service governance, reporting, performance monitoring and operational reviews.
- Support Service Desk and operational teams with escalations and service coordination.
- Maintain service documentation, knowledge articles and operational processes.
- Work with stakeholders and suppliers to improve service delivery and customer experience.

Essential Experience

- Strong ITIL/service management experience.
- Experience across Incident, Change, Problem and Service Request Management.
- Cloud service and multi-supplier experience.
- Experience delivering CSI and service reporting.
- Jira Service Management, Confluence and Remedy or equivalent ITSM tooling.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication and documentation skills.
