Job Description
Over the past decade, Westcoast Cloud has experienced substantial growth. The team now comprises over 70 members, and the company is recognised as a leading Cloud Solution Provider, having been honoured multiple times with the Cloud Distributor of the Year award at the CRN UK Channel Awards.
This position is offered on a hybrid basis, allowing work from our modern offices in Theale, Reading (near M4 Junction 12), which feature ample parking and are conveniently located near Theale Train Station.
The Job Role
Our Sales Teams look after small to medium-size business right through to some of the largest resellers across the UK. Working with these accounts can be demanding - in this Outbound Sales role, you will drive new business across your account base with the aim of growing the accounts and pro-actively managing new opportunities.
You will pro-actively manage and create new opportunities with existing accounts and new ones to Westcoast/ Westcoast Cloud, developing relationships and growing the accounts to full potential.
As part of the security sales team, your focus will be on developing relationships with new and existing clients, as well as driving business development. Vital in maximising growth across a select account base, your role will be mapping, targeting and qualifying accounts through pro-active calls and applying your tenacity to ensure that your individual KPI’s are met along with hitting team targets.

- Manage accounts to ensure positive customer experience, sustained and enhanced customer relationships, and revenue growth within accounts.
- Handle new business, relationship development, leveraging solutions, & services, and new offerings.
- Develop and penetrate named and target accounts within vertical market
- Work with Account Managers on increasing business within their named accounts.
- Focus on growing and developing new business; proactively call and engage with partners to grow sales for Vendors. Identify, enable and develop high-potential and non-repeat partners. Generate new partner opportunities and follow-up on Vendor generated leads
- Drive the renewal process from start to finish by providing renewal quotes and loading renewal orders on internal systems and vendor portals.
- Attend customer meetings on site or over teams where necessary.
Is this the role for you?
To be successful in this role you will have some of the following skills and experience and the desire to develop in other areas:
- Entrepreneurial and ambitious, with the drive to exceed targets.
- Previous sales experience inside either a reseller environment or distribution would be ideal.
- Knowledge or a keen interest in IT, Cyber Security or technology would be beneficial.
- Aptitude to work independently to uncover new opportunities.
- An excellent communicator and relationship builder
- Ability to adapt to changing situations with confidence and professionalism.
- A willingness to learn and motivation to continuously develop your industry knowledge.
