We are looking to register talented Cloud Solutions Architects who could guide organisations through complex cloud transformation and infrastructure challenges. This is an opportunity to work on enterprise-scale cloud programmes where you could own end-to-end solution design, working across distributed teams to deliver scalable, resilient systems.

Please note the content of this advert does not represent a live vacancy.

About The Opportunity

This role could sit within a forward-thinking technology function where cloud architecture is central to business outcomes. You would be part of teams designing and implementing cloud solutions that span multiple domains — from infrastructure modernisation and microservices migration to data pipeline delivery and distributed systems optimisation. The scope could include advising on platform strategy, supporting infrastructure transformation and coordinating with engineering and operations teams to move solutions from design into production.

Typical Role Overview

  • Location: Manchester, Greater Manchester, England
  • Type: Contract
  • Full-time
  • Rate: £700–800 per day
  • Domain: Cloud Architecture, Enterprise Solutions, Infrastructure Design

What You Would Do

Typical responsibilities could include:

  • Designing cloud solutions across Azure, AWS or GCP, with consideration for scalability, security and cost optimisation
  • Advising on microservices architecture, API design and distributed systems patterns
  • Collaborating with engineering teams on CI/CD pipeline design, containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure-as-code approaches (Terraform)
  • Supporting infrastructure modernisation programmes, including assessment of on-premises or legacy systems for cloud migration
  • Contributing to solution documentation using industry-standard approaches (UML, BPMN)
  • Working across cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical architecture decisions
  • Staying current with cloud platform capabilities and emerging architectural patterns

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
