Cloud Solutions Delivery Lead
Location: Hybrid – London, Bristol, Leeds or Dudley
Type: Permanent
Security Clearance: SC cleared or eligible for SC clearance

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Solutions Delivery Lead / Design Authority to provide senior technical leadership and governance across cloud and infrastructure solutions. You will be responsible for reviewing and approving technical designs, driving architectural standards, and ensuring solutions are secure, resilient, scalable, supportable, and cost-effective.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead Design Authority reviews across cloud, infrastructure, security, and platform solutions.
- Review and approve HLDs, LLDs, architectural decisions, and technical exceptions.
- Provide architectural leadership across Microsoft Azure, AWS, Microsoft 365, and hybrid cloud environments.
- Support cloud migration, modernization, and platform engineering programmes.
- Champion Infrastructure as Code, automation, cloud-native technologies, and engineering best practice.
- Ensure security, compliance, resilience, disaster recovery, and operational readiness are embedded into solution designs.
- Provide technical leadership for bids, tenders, customer workshops, and complex deliveries.
- Mentor architects, engineers, and technical leads while influencing senior stakeholders.

Key skills and experience:
- Strong Azure architecture, governance, and landing zone experience.
- Broad knowledge of AWS, Microsoft 365, and hybrid cloud architectures.
- Strong understanding of networking, identity, security, connectivity, storage, and compute.
- Experience with Terraform, Bicep, or similar Infrastructure as Code tools.
- Proven experience producing and reviewing HLDs and LLDs.
- Experience operating within an Architecture Governance or Design Authority function.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Experience leading technical governance forums and resolving complex design challenges.
