Club Host - Rocket Padel Battersea Power Station

As a Club Host at Rocket Padel, you’ll be the face of the club - the first smile our members and guests see and the person who ensures every visit feels exceptional. You’ll play a key role in the smooth running of daily operations, supporting events, and maintaining the club’s premium atmosphere through impeccable service and attention to detail.

This position is ideal for someone proactive, organised, and personable - someone who thrives in a dynamic, high-end environment and knows how to make people feel welcome, valued, and inspired to return.

Key Responsibilities

Member & Guest Experience

  • Deliver a warm, professional welcome to all members and guests.
  • Assist with bookings, memberships, and general club inquiries.
  • Anticipate and respond to member needs to ensure a consistently high level of satisfaction.
  • Build positive relationships with members, creating a friendly and inclusive community atmosphere.

Facility Presentation

  • Take pride in the club’s appearance, ensuring courts, lounge areas, and changing rooms are immaculate at all times.
  • Conduct regular checks to ensure areas are clean, stocked, and maintained to the highest standards.
  • Take ownership of the environment - genuine care for the space and attention to detail are essential.

Food & Beverage

  • Support the daily operation of the bar and lounge, providing attentive and efficient service.
  • Prepare and serve quick-preparation food and beverage items to a premium standard.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and compliance with food safety procedures.
  • Previous experience in bar, café, or hospitality environments is highly desirable.

Hosting & Events

  • Be a visible, approachable presence throughout the club - greeting, assisting, and engaging with members.
  • Support event setup and delivery, contributing to a lively and social club atmosphere.
  • Manage court bookings, equipment hire, and day-to-day service with professionalism and enthusiasm.
  • Handle member feedback constructively, ensuring issues are followed up promptly and effectively.

Shift Pattern & Availability

  • Regular afternoon and evening shifts (typically 2pm–10pm) and flexibility for weekends and special events.
  • Reliability, consistency, and a positive, adaptable attitude are key to success in this role.

Health, Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure all health, safety, and hygiene protocols are followed.
  • Carry out routine checks to maintain a safe, welcoming, and compliant environment for members and staff.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience in a customer-facing role within hospitality, leisure, or sport.
  • Confident communicator who enjoys interacting with people and building relationships.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills with a proactive “can-do” mindset.
  • Passionate about service excellence and maintaining high standards.
  • Interest in Padel or willingness to learn quickly about the sport.
  • Level 2 Food Safety & Hygiene certification preferred.
  • First Aid certification is an advantage.
