Job Title: Club Manager

Organisation: Junior Adventures Group

Location: Our Lady of Muswell Primary School, Pages Lane, Muswell Hill, London, N10 1PS

Hours: Monday to Friday, 14:45–18:00

Contract: 16.5 hours per week

Pay Rate: Up to £13.80 per hour

About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced and responsible Club Manager to lead our team at Junior Adventures Group.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the club, ensuring that children receive a safe, fun and engaging experience before and after school. As Club Manager, you will lead and support your team to deliver high-quality activities and childcare while ensuring that all safeguarding, health and safety, and company policies are followed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operation of the club.
  • Lead, support and motivate the staff team.
  • Plan and oversee a fun, engaging and age-appropriate activity programme.
  • Ensure the safety, wellbeing and happiness of all children at all times.
  • Maintain high standards of safeguarding and follow all relevant policies and procedures.
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents/carers, school staff and colleagues.
  • Manage staff rotas and ensure appropriate staffing levels are maintained.
  • Support, supervise and develop members of the team.
  • Deal professionally with parent/carer queries and concerns.
  • Ensure accurate attendance registers and relevant records are completed.
  • Manage resources and ensure activity areas are clean, organised and welcoming.
  • Carry out health and safety checks and risk assessments where required.
  • Ensure the club operates in line with Junior Adventures Group policies and procedures.
  • Communicate regularly with the General Manager and report any concerns or issues.
  • Support with the planning and delivery of holiday camps where required.

Qualifications

Experience & Qualifications

  • Previous experience working with children is essential.
  • Previous experience in a leadership or management role is desirable.
  • Experience within childcare, education, youth work or activity leadership is an advantage.
  • Relevant childcare qualifications are desirable, depending on the requirements of the role.
  • Experience managing or supervising a team is desirable.
  • A willingness to complete all required training and safeguarding checks is essential
