Club Manager in Hull - Gym and Fitness Club
Up to £35k (experience dependent) + £5k bonus
Location: Hull, East Yorkshire.
Our client is a well-established gym and fitness club in Hull, known for its friendly atmosphere and loyal local membership. They're looking for a Club Manager to take full ownership of the club, lead a motivated team and grow membership, retention and commercial performance.
This role suits someone who loves the buzz of a busy gym floor as much as a good set of numbers. You'll have real freedom to shape how the club runs and put your own stamp on the member experience, with the backing of a business that values its people. If you're an Assistant Manager ready for your first club, or an experienced Gym Manager looking for a club to make your own, this is well worth a conversation.
On offer is a salary of up to £35k plus a £5k bonus, a supportive, down-to-earth team culture, and real scope to progress as the business grows.
Working pattern:
- Full time, around 40 hours per week, including some evening and weekend cover on a rota.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
