Position: Club Manager

Location: Westminster Gym

Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday

Salary: £33,500

Jubilee Hall Trust is an independent charitable sports trust in central London that operates three fitness, health and sports centres and delivers community programmes to build healthier communities.

We are seeking a Club Manager to work within a small team in one of the most famous landmarks in London. The Westminster Gym is situated within the Parliamentary Estate and serves a wide range of staff of both Houses.

Our managers are business managers who are personally responsible for the complete and thorough running of their own site. As a site manager for Jubilee Hall Trust, you will gain very real experience of what it is like to have your very own club.

Key Accountabilities

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the ability to prepare and deliver marketing, outreach and sales plans, prepare and deliver annual budgets, as well as oversee the day-to-day operational management of their site and staff. You will need to show entrepreneurial flair and an ability to react to a very challenging and ever-changing competitive market. You will be constantly looking for ways to improve the business and challenging staff to do better.

Duties Required of the Role Include

  • Setting and achievement of the club’s budget
  • Development of a strong and cohesive team through training, goal setting and coaching
  • Compliance with Health and Safety standards and the ability to improve audit scores
  • Preparing and delivering a sales and outreach plan that achieves the set budgets and further drives the membership line
  • Management of the membership software – ‘Gladstone’
