Cluster Head Housekeeper - Bosville, Marmalade and Bracken Hide Hotels
Our Bosville, Marmalade and Bracken Hide Hotels are hiring a Cluster Head Housekeeper to join their team in Portree, The Isle of Skye. This is a full-time permanent contract, and you will be working 45 hours a week, Monday through to Sunday.
About the Role
As a Cluster Head Housekeeper, you will be responsible for planning, organising, and developing the overall operations of the housekeeping department in accordance with the company's standards, ensuring all areas of the hotels are thoroughly kept clean and tidy as per all cleanliness and hygiene guidelines. You will pay close attention to detail and manage the housekeeping team efficiently to ensure staff satisfaction and optimum performance.
Preferred but not required experience:
- Prior experience with Stayntouch, Trustyou, and RotaCloud systems

About Us
Perle Hotels is a small luxury hotel group focusing on a modern hotel experience in Scotland. The hotels have all been lovingly restored and provide a haven of tranquillity in stunning Highland locations. Location
The Bosville Hotel, in Portree. The Bosville is contained within a trio of 18th-century cottages that have been lovingly restored and converted. Our refined but cosy accommodation is situated right in the centre of Portree, opposite the harbour with some of the best views in town.
The Marmalade Hotel, in Portree. Set majestically in mature gardens, commanding views over the village of Portree, the loch and the Cuillin Mountains, you will find Marmalade, the perfect location to enjoy everything Skye has to offer. A beautiful juxtaposition of the historic Manor House and contemporary architecture, this 4-star hotel welcomes guests who appreciate design details and luxurious comfort.
The Bracken Hide Hotel, in Portree. The Bracken Hide is a new four-star wilderness hotel, which connects guests to the magic of the Island, the stunning land and seascapes and the nature that abounds. We are located on 52 acres to the west of Portree. Close enough to leave the car and walk into Portree.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Organise employee schedules, ensure that employees receive ongoing training and hold staff meetings to keep employees updated on all procedures and policies.
- Ensure that all the shifts are properly covered, ensuring team member productivity and room cleanliness.
- Ensure bedrooms and public areas are maintained to the highest level of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Ensure correct levels of stock, including chemicals, consumables, and linen are kept at a correct level by using a par stocking process.
- Ensure that all procedures and policies concerning COSHH, and the use of chemicals and cleaning products are practised at all times.
- Encouraging a culture of positive employee relations by having effective and clear communication with all housekeeping team members.
- Work closely with the linen supplier (if applicable), ensuring counts and orders are placed in a timely manner. Ensure sufficient levels of linen are in line with the hotel's occupancy, there should be no overstocked or understocked linen items.
- Keep all housekeeping back-of-house areas tidy and efficiently stocked.
- Follow the hotel's guest relations policy, including politely addressing our guests at all times and ensuring 100% guest satisfaction.
