The Role

We are seeking a Cluster Manager to join a growing contract catering business. This role oversees up to 5 catering operations areas, managing multiple teams across those sites. The focus is on site standards, team support and development, client relations, project management, logistics, strategic planning, and improvement initiatives that elevate customer service and experience. This is a field-based role with head office in London, offering the opportunity to work across multiple locations while remaining connected to the central team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee catering operations across multiple construction sites.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the main point of contact.
  • Work with onsite leaders and Head of Food Development for fresh ideas and ongoing creativity.
  • Oversee compliance with food safety, health and safety, and government nutritional guidelines.
  • Monitor site budgets and adherence to budgetary limits.
  • Provide high-level support to onsite teams, ensuring high-quality catering service delivery.
  • Collaborate with Head of Training and Development to ensure team members are trained to the highest standard.
  • Collaborate with Recruitment Manager for resource planning and talent requirements.
  • Troubleshoot operational challenges and implement effective solutions.
  • Work closely with suppliers, logistics, and procurement teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Drive efficiency and innovation in service delivery, ensuring peak customer satisfaction.

The Ideal Cluster Manager

  • Previous experience in Operations Management within catering, facilities management, and/or Business and Industry sectors.
  • Multi-site experience with high-level leadership skills.
  • Proven ability to manage, support, and develop teams across multiple locations.
  • Confident in dealing directly with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Problem-solving mindset - ability to think on feet, troubleshoot, and implement practical solutions.
  • Adaptable and confident working in a fast-paced and people-centric environment.
  • Willingness to travel and make onsite visits as required.
  • Right to work in the UK.

Schedule

  • Day shift / Monday to Friday
  • Occasional weekends when business requires
  • 100% travel required (field-based)
