OUR HOTEL
We're on the lookout for an ambitious, energetic and commercially driven proactive sales manager to join our growing Commercial Team at Hilton Aberdeen TECA, and Aloft by Marriott Aberdeen TECA.
We are looking for someone who thrives on identifying opportunities, opening doors, building relationships and converting new business. You will spend your time actively engaging with corporate clients, event organisers, associations and key local businesses, representing two of Aberdeen's most exciting hotels located at the heart of the award-winning P&J Live event complex.

What You'll Be Doing
Drive New Business Growth
- Proactively identify, target and secure new corporate, group and event opportunities.
- Build a strong pipeline through research, networking, sales calls, appointments and prospecting activity.
- Develop strategic account plans designed to maximise revenue and market share.
- Generate appointments and conduct face-to-face client meetings, hotel show rounds and networking visits.
Own Your Market
- Become an expert on the Aberdeen business and events landscape.
- Identify opportunities linked to P&J Live events, conferences and major city-wide business activity.
- Attend networking events, exhibitions, industry functions and trade shows to develop new relationships and enhance brand awareness.
Build Meaningful Relationships
- Manage and grow a portfolio of key accounts across corporate, association, government and event sectors.
- Develop strong partnerships that deliver repeat business and long-term value.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their needs and creating tailored solutions across both hotel brands.
Deliver Commercial Success
- Achieve and exceed revenue, room night and account production targets.
- Maximise opportunities for bedrooms, meetings, events and group business.
- Work closely with Revenue, Reservations, Operations and the wider Commercial team to ensure strong conversion and profitability.

Essential
What We're Looking For
- Proven success within proactive hotel sales, corporate sales, hospitality sales or business development.
- Demonstrable track record of winning new business and exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills.
- Confidence conducting sales appointments, presentations and networking events.
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to identify revenue opportunities.
- Self-motivated, organised and results-driven mindset.
- Full UK driving license.
Desirable
- Experience with Hilton, Marriott or branded hotel operations.
- Knowledge of the Aberdeen and North East Scotland business market.
- Experience selling corporate travel, meetings, events or group accommodation.
