Two venues. One city. A huge opportunity to make an impact.

We're looking for an ambitious, commercially driven Cluster Sales Manager to take ownership of sales across two of Southampton's best-known hospitality venues – Barbara's Bier Haus & Circuit Southampton.

If you're a natural networker who loves hospitality and gets a buzz from winning business, we want to hear from you.

What you'll be doing

You'll take ownership of sales activity across both Southampton venues, working closely with the General Managers, Marketing & Promotions team and our wider commercial teams.

Your role will include:

  • Building and developing a strong network of corporate clients across Southampton.
  • Getting out into the city, meeting businesses and creating new commercial opportunities.

  • Hosting show-rounds and client meetings, bringing our venues and event possibilities to life.
  • Creating targeted outbound sales plans to generate revenue throughout the year, including key trading periods such as Christmas.
  • Using tools such as LinkedIn to grow your professional network and create new leads.
  • Identifying opportunities for large-scale, on-brand events that drive incremental revenue.
  • Owning the networking strategy and calendar across both venues.
  • Working alongside both General Managers to develop and review local commercial strategies.
  • Collaborating with Marketing & Promotions to make sure sales and marketing activity works together.
  • Working closely with venue teams to ensure bookings and events are executed brilliantly from enquiry through to guest experience.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

The role

This is a full-time, predominantly Monday-to-Friday position working across Barbara's Bier Haus & Circuit.

Hospitality doesn't always stick to office hours, so there will be occasions where evenings and weekends are required around key events, client activity and important trading periods. Most importantly, this isn't a sales role where you'll spend five days a week behind a laptop.

We want you out in Southampton – building relationships, growing your network, creating opportunities and becoming a recognisable face for our venues across the city.

What you'll get

  • £34,000–£36,000 salary
  • Ownership of sales activity across two established Southampton venues.
  • The opportunity to build a powerful network across the city's corporate and business community.
  • A varied role combining business development, networking, events and commercial strategy.
  • The chance to work closely with venue leadership and central sales and marketing teams.
  • Plenty of opportunity to make the role your own and see the direct impact of the relationships and business you generate.

Ready to own the city?

If you're commercially ambitious, brilliant with people and know how to turn conversations into relationships – and relationships into revenue – we'd love to hear from you.

Come and help us make Barbara's Bier Haus & Circuit the first venues Southampton businesses think of when it's time to get the team together, celebrate or throw an unforgettable event.
