CMBS VP
We're partnering with an investment bank who are continuing to expand within securitisation - this is a visible front-office position leading and supporting the origination and execution of complex securitisation transactions. This business is expanding its EMEA footprint to capitalize on significant market activity across CMBS and Esoteric Securitisation transactions, particularly within data centres, digital infrastructure, property-related assets, and emerging sectors.
Job Description
- Support the origination and lead the execution of public securitisation (ABS) transactions, with a core focus on CMBS and Esoteric Securitisation transactions (including Data Centres, Digital Infrastructure, Solar, Sharia-compliant, and IP Royalties).
- Lead structural risk analysis (credit papers), perform cash flow modelling, review legal documentation, and manage comprehensive deal due diligence.
- Manage transaction lifecycles through to deal closing, including handling securitisation transaction renewals, amendments, and waivers.
- Act as a direct point of contact for internal and external counterparties, maintaining strong client relationships and resolving complex transaction queries.
- Monitor regulatory developments and emerging market trends across the EMEA securitisation landscape to maintain a competitive advantage.

You Will Have

- Solid track record of working on securitisation transactions in EMEA within either a bank, advisory, rating agency, or issuer capacity.
- Mandatory core expertise in CMBS or Esoteric ABS asset classes (generalist RMBS or autos-only backgrounds will not be suitable).
- Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills with strong commercial acumen to manage complex structural transactions.
- Technical proficiency in cash flow modelling and Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint, alongside a strong degree-level education.
- Background in credit, legal, or accounting, or fluency in European languages (desirable, though not essential).
