Role: CMM Operator
Type: Permanent, Full Time
Hours: Day shifts
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum + Benefits
Location: Northampton
Are you an experienced CMM Operator looking for your next challenge? If so, this opportunity cannot be missed! Our client, a leading engineering business, is recruiting for a CMM Operator due to growth in the business.
CMM Operator – Key Responsibilities:
- Operate CMMs and inspection equipment to measure precision-engineered components.
- Complete inspections accurately and within production timescales.
- Identify and escalate measurement issues and non-conformances to production and engineering.
- Support 5S, continuous improvement, and wider team activities.
- Maintain a flexible approach to changing workloads and priorities.

CMM Operator - Essential Skills & Experience:
- Previous manufacturing experience, ideally within metrology or CMM inspection.
- Experience using CMMs or precision measuring equipment.
- Excellent understanding of engineering drawings and GD&T.
- Confident using Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Logical, proactive, and willing to learn new skills.
