Position Summary
PBS (Ponticelli UK Ltd) is looking for an experienced CMMS Operator who will be responsible for the accurate and timely entry, update, and management of data within the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS), ensuring that all maintenance activities, work orders, and asset management records are properly documented to support efficient maintenance operations and compliance with company standards. This position would be a permanent position, however willing to take on an Agency-PAYE candidate 4 days per week.
Key Deliverables:
- Input and update maintenance data into the CMMS, ensuring accuracy and completeness for work orders, preventive maintenance schedules, and asset records.
- Create, track, and close work orders in the CMMS, ensuring that all maintenance activities are properly documented and completed in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of assets, including equipment specifications, history, and maintenance schedules within the CMMS.
- Generate regular and ad-hoc reports from the CMMS to assist with maintenance planning, scheduling, and compliance tracking.
- Assist maintenance team and other users with CMMS-related queries and provide training on CMMS functionalities as needed.
- Ensure that all data entered into the CMMS complies with company policies and standards, conducting regular audits to maintain data integrity.
- Assist in developing and managing preventive maintenance schedules within the CMMS to ensure timely maintenance of equipment.
- Work closely with maintenance, operations, and inventory teams to ensure accurate and up-to-date CMMS records that support overall operational efficiency.

Qualifications and Work Experience:
Essential: GCSEs or equivalent, including Maths and English.
Desirable: Certification in maintenance management or a related field.
Essential: Experience working with a CMMS in a maintenance or operations environment.
Desirable: Experience in the energy sector.
Job Specific Knowledge:
Essential: Familiarity with CMMS software and its functionalities.
Essential: Basic knowledge of maintenance processes and terminology.
Skills:
Essential: Strong data entry and computer skills.
Essential: Attention to detail and accuracy in data management.
Essential: Effective communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
Desirable: Problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot CMMS-related issues.
