About The Role
A CMS Assistant is required for a three-week temporary contract in London, paying £175.00 to £200.00 per day plus holiday. This fully remote role supports a major personal injury organisation by migrating website content into the Umbraco system. Duties involve reviewing, preparing, transferring, and quality-checking material to guarantee accuracy, consistency, and accessibility before publication. Working alongside Digital, Web, and Content teams, the assistant ensures a precise migration that upholds content standards and user experience. Immediate start available. Suitable candidates will possess strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and familiarity with content management systems.

CMS Assistant - Content Migration
My client are a large personal injury organisation, who are looking for a number of CMS Assistants who can support the migration of website content from an existing system to the Umbraco Content Management System (CMS).
The role will involve reviewing, preparing, transferring and quality-checking content to ensure that information is accurate, consistent, accessible and ready for publication on the new platform.
Working closely with the Digital, Web and Content teams, the CMS Assistant will help deliver a smooth and accurate content migration while maintaining high standards of content quality and user experience.

This position is a short term contract, for 3 weeks and need candidates who can work remotely and from their own equipment.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Content Migration
- Review and migrate website content from the current system to Umbraco.
- Copy, format and structure content in line with the new platform's requirements.
- Ensure content is transferred accurately and completely.
- Identify content that is outdated, duplicated, incomplete or no longer required and flag it for review.
- Map existing content to the appropriate pages, templates and content types within the new platform.
- Upload and correctly position images, documents, links and other digital assets.
- Check migrated content for accuracy, formatting and consistency.
- Test internal and external links and identify broken or incorrect links.
- Check images, documents, headings, tables and other page elements.
- Ensure content follows agreed editorial, brand and accessibility standards.
- Carry out pre-publication checks and report issues to the relevant team members.
- Support user acceptance testing of migrated content.

Experience Required
- Working with a Content Management System.
- Desirable experience using Umbraco or a similar CMS.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify errors and inconsistencies.
- Experience working with website content and digital publishing.
- Good understanding of web content structure, including headings, links, images and page components.
