Founded in 1975, T &G Engineering in West Byfleet, Surrey is one of Europe’s foremost high precision subcontract machining companies serving and supporting worldwide customers in aerospace, automotive, pharmaceutical, medical, can tooling and special purpose machinery sectors.
Technical knowledge and flexibility has allowed T &G Engineering to penetrate various market sectors. In an ever-changing industrial world, this flexibility and ability to manage are seen as key strengths.
We are looking for a dynamic skilled CNC 5-Axis Miller to join our team of engineers. The role will involve programming, setting and operating CNC Milling machines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Includes all aspects of CNC Milling.
- Programming, setting and operating our Okuma CNC 3 & 5 Axis Milling Machines.
- Working on highly complex components with a strict GD&T adherence and being compliance to technical documentation.
- Use of measuring equipment to check components to maintain our high-quality standards.
- Work to health and safety and our housekeeping standards.

Requirements:
- Experience as a CNC Miller (programmer, Setter, Operator).
- Previous experience machining complex components.
- The ability to read complex technical drawings and apply GD&T where required.
- Must have 5-Axis Milling experience.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where general helpfulness and flexibility are essential attributes for this role.
- A passion for engineering and the appreciation and commitment to achieve our client’s requirements is essential.

What we Offer:
- Competitive hourly rate of pay depending on experience.

- Stable long-term employment.
- Full time hours are 39 hours per week Monday to Thursday 7.30am to 4.00pm (1/2-hour lunch break) and Friday 7.30am to 2.30pm (No lunch break).
- Overtime during the week and on Saturday’s are paid at time and a half.
- Holiday entitlement is currently 23 days per annum plus English public/bank holidays.
