We are currently seeking an experienced CNC Grinder Setter/Operator to join a busy and growing precision engineering company.
The successful candidate will be responsible for setting and operating CNC grinding machinery, producing high-quality precision components to tight tolerances and ensuring production targets are met while maintaining excellent quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Setting and operating CNC grinding machines.
- Producing components to tight tolerances and high-quality standards.
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
- Carrying out first-off and in-process inspections.
- Making offsets and minor program adjustments as required.
- Troubleshooting machining issues and implementing corrective actions.
- Ensuring machines and work areas are maintained to a high standard.

Requirements
- Proven experience as a CNC Grinder Setter/Operator.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Experience working to tight tolerances.
- Strong understanding of quality inspection processes and measuring equipment.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
