WE’RE HIRING – CNC OPERATOR WITH WELDING SKILLS
HVL Solutions Ltd | Pinxton, Derbyshire
HVL Solutions is looking for an experienced CNC Operator with welding and fabrication skills to join our workshop team in Pinxton.
We provide specialist valve maintenance, repair and engineering services to the water and gas industries. This is a varied, hands-on role involving machining and fabrication to support our projects.
The role:
- Operate CNC machinery fitted with Siemens control systems.
- Manufacture components accurately from engineering drawings.
- Carry out welding and fabrication work.
- Inspect finished components to ensure they meet dimensional and quality requirements.
- Work closely with our engineering team to complete jobs safely and on time.
- Maintain machinery, tools and a tidy workshop.

What we’re looking for:
- Experience operating CNC machinery with Siemens controls.
- Practical welding and fabrication skills.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and use measuring equipment.
- A strong work ethic, reliability and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

CNC setting and programming experience would be an advantage. Please include details of the welding processes you are experienced in when applying.
Pay and benefits:
- Negotiable wages, depending on skills and experience.
- 28 days’ holiday, including bank holidays.
- Company pension.
