CNC Machinist (all skill levels)

Bristol
Full time Double Day shift

Salary – £30,000 to £39,500 per annum inclusive of shift allowance

Key Responsibilities – CNC Machinist

Bristol-based Engineering business supporting the likes of Rolls Royce & Airbus on complex projects are looking for CNC machinists of all levels from operator to programmers to join their team on a double day shift. This is a great opportunity to develop existing skills and learn new ones in a dynamic machine shop.

Position Overview

  • Setting of 3, 4 & 5 Axis CNC Machining Centres to achieve first off approvals
  • Experience with Heidenhain & or Fanuc Controls preferred
  • In-process sample inspection
  • 100% visual inspection of production output

CNC Miller Position Requirements

  • Ability to self-manage, work on own initiative and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to read technical drawings
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions
  • Take personal pride in their work, ensuring high standards
  • Be proactive for the continual improvement of processes
  • Deburring of Components
  • Ensure safe working practices wherever applicable
  • Maintain clear/safe working areas and walkways
  • Must be a team player and be willing to adhere to company procedures

This role is shift based, alternating each week:

Shift Pattern 1:
Mon-Thurs 6am-2pm
Friday 6am-11am

Shift Pattern 2:
Mon-Thurs 2pm-10pm
Friday 11am-4pm
