CNC Machinist - Braintree - Up to £39,500 - 25 days holiday
We're seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join a precision engineering company in Braintree. If you have experience with Fanuc-controlled CNC lathes, strong problem-solving skills, and a background in machining, this is the perfect opportunity.
The Role
- Setting, operating, and programming Citizen Sliding Head Lathes (Fanuc controls)
- Selecting tools and adjusting programs to produce high-quality components
- Conducting first-off approvals, in-process quality checks, and completing QA records
- Following engineering drawings, work instructions, and H&S procedures

What We're Looking For
- Experience in CNC setting, programming & problem-solving
- Ability to read & interpret detailed engineering drawings
- Familiarity with Fanuc or Siemens CNC programming (training provided)
- Self-sufficient in quality control & first-off approvals
- Engineering apprenticeship or equivalent experience preferred
