CNC Turner / CNC Miller - Precision Engineering
Location: Ipswich (Outskirts)
Salary: Up to £38,000 per annum
Prime Appointments is working in partnership with a well-established and growing precision engineering company based just outside Ipswich. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced CNC Turner or CNC Miller to support the manufacture of high-precision components for the Aerospace and Automotive sectors.
This is a long-term opportunity offering stability, ongoing training, and the chance to work within a skilled and supportive engineering team.

The Role
You will be responsible for producing high-quality components to exacting standards using modern CNC machinery in a fast-paced precision engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Programming, setting and operating CNC lathes or mills
- Working to tight tolerances from detailed engineering drawings
- Carrying out first-off inspections and quality checks
- Identifying and resolving machining issues to minimise downtime
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working area
- Supporting continuous improvement and efficiency initiatives
Skills And Experience Required
- Proven experience in CNC Turning or CNC Milling
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- Experience in both milling and turning is advantageous but not essential
