CNC Machinist
A CNC Machinist is sought to join an innovative engineering team in Basildon, Essex, contributing to the manufacture, machining, and assembly of precision-engineered components.
The CNC Machinist, Basildon, Essex
The CNC Machinist, Basildon, Essex, will be expected to develop your machining skills across CNC and manual processes, with training available in programming, CAM, and other areas.
Responsibilities
- Setting and operating CNC machinery using Heidenhain TNC 620 and Siemens 840 controls
- Carrying out basic CNC programming where possible
- Machining components to required specifications and quality standards
- Undertaking mechanical fitting and disassembly work
- Operating manual milling machines where required
- Using CAM systems, with training provided where necessary
- Operating cylindrical and surface grinders where required
