Location

This employer is based in WAKEFIELD, just a few minutes from the M1, meaning the successful CNC Machinist can easily commute from surrounding towns and cities, such as Leeds, Huddersfield, Castleford, Wakefield, Barnsley, Sheffield, Rotherham, Halifax, and Dewsbury.

Key Responsibilities of the CNC Miller

  • Operating a variety of HAAS Machining Centres to produce components & parts for use on internal projects
  • Creating new & bespoke programmes using CAD/CAM software and HAAS machine controls, as well as optimizing old programmes where applicable
  • Working directly from engineering drawings and work instruction to ensure that components are produced to specification

Details of the CNC Miller Position

  • Renumeration: Up to £35,100.00 per annum / £18.00 per hour depending on experience
  • Profit Shares (due to be paid in 2028) - potentially worth £5K+
  • Pension Scheme: Matched contribution up to 5%
  • Working Hours: 37.5 Hours per week, spread across a regular day shift - able to start 30 minutes: Monday to Thursday - 08:00 to 16:30 / Friday - 08:00 to 15:15
  • Overtime Always Available - Paid at 150% after 37.5 hours & 200% on Sundays (10 hours overtime per week easily achievable midweek)
  • Private Health Cash Plan
