CNC 4/5 Axis Milling Programmer/Setter/Operator - Double Day Shift - Worcester
£26,667 - £31,250 basic + 20% shift premium (£32,000 - £37,500)
Shift Schedule
- Monday to Friday: 5:30am to 1:30pm
- Monday to Thursday: 2:00pm to 10:30pm
- Friday: 2:00pm to 8:00pm
The Company Our client, Yamazaki Mazak, is a leading global manufacturing company based in Worcester. This is an excellent opportunity to join a market-leading machine tool manufacturer that has been at the forefront of the industry for many years.
The Role
- Programming, setting and operating Mazak 4 and 5 Axis machining centres.
- Producing a varied range of highly toleranced components used in the manufacture of Mazak CNC machines.
- Using Mazatrol CNC controls to program, edit and improve both existing and new components.
- Working as part of a team within a busy manufacturing environment.
- Working to strict health and safety standards and procedures.
- Supporting a positive culture through involvement in Health & Safety improvements and Kaizen initiatives.

Essential Criteria
- Solid experience of setting and operating CNC machining centres.
- Experience using CNC controls safely and effectively.
- Previous experience working within a busy manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Desirable Criteria
- Experience programming directly from engineering drawings using Mazatrol CNC controls.
- Mechanical Engineering apprenticeship, HNC or similar engineering qualification.
