Job Title: CNC Miller
Town: Basildon
Salary: £37,599 + 33% shift allowance (£50,006pa)
We are looking to recruit two CNC Millers to work night shift with either 3 Axis or 5 Axis experience to work for an international manufacturing company supplying components to the aerospace industry. You will produce precision components using Mazak or Doosan machines. If you are a time served CNC Miller with setting and operating experience then apply today.
Duties
- Produce precision components from drawings using CNC machines
- Produce accurate, high-quality components with maximum efficiency
- Set and operate CNC milling machines
- Work to tight tolerances and check your own work meets the required standard
- Work on your own initiative and understand all aspects of the manufacturing process
- Quality check all finished jobs
- Clean and maintain CNC machine and all associated equipment and machine area
- Working to ISO 50001/14001/45001/9001 standards
- Commitment to continual improvement in manufacturing, quality, health, safety environmental, energy and sustainability management
- As part of your role you will be asked to support the Energy team and consider energy reduction and savings within the scope of your role leading to continuous improvement.

Skills & Experience
- Fully skilled time served CNC setter/operator (certificates required)
- Must have experience of 3 or 5 Axis machines
- Able to interpret engineering drawings and follow written instructions
- Aerospace experience preferable
- Able to use a wide variety of measuring equipment
- Computer literate
- Must have good attention to detail, good practical skills and excellent hand-to-eye coordination
- Must be able to work on own initiative and as part of a team in a safe manner
- Normal colour vision is required

Benefits
- £18.54ph = £37,599pa + 33% shift allowance
- Monday to Thursday 7:30pm to 16:30am, Friday 2:30pm to 7.30pm
