We are seeking a talented CNC Miller to join our growing aerospace client in Sheffield.
What You'll Do
As a CNC Miller, you will play a pivotal role in the manufacturing process, creating high-quality components that drive success.
Here's What You Can Expect
- Set Up and Operate: Precision is key! You'll be setting up and operating CNC Milling machines with care.
- Interpret Technical Drawings: Bring your expertise in reading specifications to ensure accuracy in every project.
- Quality Monitoring: Keep an eye on the machining process to maintain the highest quality standards.
- Collaborate: Work alongside team members to optimise production efficiency and tackle challenges together.
- Troubleshoot: Resolve any issues that arise during machining with your problem-solving skills.
- Maintain Safety: Ensure a clean and safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
What We're Looking For
We're on the hunt for someone not only skilled but also enthusiastic about their work! Here are the qualifications we hope to see:
- Experience: Proven experience as a CNC Miller, particularly with large turning operations.
- Technical Proficiency: Ability to read technical drawings and understand machining principles.
- Attention to Detail: A commitment to producing high-quality work is essential.
- Team Player: Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Programming Skills: Relevant CNC programming experience (Fanuc, Haas, etc.) is a plus.
- Positive Attitude: A willingness to learn and grow within the company is key!
