CNC Miller and Turner (Extensive Overtime)

Exeter

Up to £23ph (OTE up to £68,000) + Extensive optional Overtime + Benefits + Early Finish on a Friday

Are you a CNC Miller or Turner with experience working on CNC milling machines and CNC lathes, looking to join a well-established engineering company where you will predominantly be working on one-off products so no one day is the same?

This role would suit a CNC Miller, CNC Turner, CNC Machinist or similar with experience operating CNC milling machines and/or CNC lathes and looking for a varied position where you can work on both one-off and production components within a well-equipped engineering workshop.

In this role, the successful CNC Miller & Turner or similar will:

  • Program, set and operate CNC machinery
  • Interpret engineering drawings
  • Carry out dimensional inspections
  • Manufacture precision components to demanding tolerances while maintaining high standards of quality and safety

The Role:

  • Setting and operating CNC milling machines and CNC lathes to manufacture precision components
  • Monday to Thursday 7:00 till 16:00 and 7:00 till 13:00 on Fridays
  • Overtime paid at 1.5 x, up to 15 optional hours available per week

The Person:

  • CNC Miller, CNC Turner, CNC Machinist or similar background within programming
  • Experience working within a precision engineering or heavy engineering environment
  • Ability to work on both one-off/bespoke components and production runs would be advantageous
