About

We are seeking an experienced CNC Miller Programmer/Setter/Operator to join our team. Working within a busy machine shop, you will be responsible for programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines to produce high-quality precision components.

Key Responsibilities

  • Programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines with Fanuc controls
  • Manufacturing precision components to specifications and engineering drawings
  • Producing a variety of different components
  • Selecting tooling and optimising machining processes
  • Carrying out first-off and in-process inspections
  • Ensuring components are manufactured to the highest quality standards
  • Maintaining a safe and organised working environment

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a CNC Miller Programmer / Setter / Operator
  • Strong knowledge of Fanuc controls
  • Experience programming at the machine
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Competent in the use of measuring equipment including micrometres, verniers and gauges
