CNC Mill:Turn
Location: Poole
Job type: Permanent
Hours: 39 hours per week - night shifts and day shifts available
Pay: A GBP 17 - A GBP 18ph + 30 shift allowance for night working
Looking to join a forward-thinking engineering business with a strong reputation in the aerospace sector? Our client is a long-established family-owned group with multiple sites specializing in high-precision machines and metal treatment services. With continued investment, expansion, and a strong order book, they're strengthening their night shift team in Poole.
The Role
- Set and operate CNC Mill / Turn machines to produce precision components in line with customer drawings
- Use FAUNC control systems confidently to manage tooling, offset, and machining parameters
- Carry out in-process inspection of your own work, ensuring compliance with drawing requirements and SPC standards
- Maintain high levels of accuracy, quality, and general engineering competence
- Keep your work area clean, organized, and compliant with 5C / 5S standards

About You
- Completed a recognized mechanical engineering apprenticeship (or equivalent experience)
- Strong engineering background with proven ability as a fully skilled CNC setter / operator
- Experience working with FAUNC controls
- Familiarity with Nakamura machines and bar-feed systems is advantageous
- Aerospace experience is highly desirable
