Salary: £37,000 - £38,500
Permanent | Days 8am - 4.30pm
Location: East Lancs; commutable from Wigan, Skelmersdale, Ormskirk, St Helens, Burscough, Kirkby etc.
We are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Programmer / Setter to join a highly established and technically advanced manufacturing business in East Lancashire. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong FANUC programming experience who is comfortable working with complex components and a variety of materials within a precision engineering environment.
The Role:
You will be responsible for setting and programming CNC machining centres, ensuring tooling, programmes and machining processes are correctly established to achieve the required standards. The successful candidate will have experience with:

- Programming and setting 4 and 5-axis CNC machining centres
- Creating, editing and understanding FANUC CNC programmes
- Producing programmes offline using CAPT CAD/CAM or OneCNC
- Interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Selecting and establishing appropriate cutting tools and tooling requirements
- Using a range of precision measuring and inspection equipment
- Machining exotic/specialist materials
- Working to high levels of accuracy and quality

You will be joining a long-established, highly regarded manufacturing operation with a strong reputation for technical capability and engineering excellence. The facility incorporates a range of specialist processes, including precision machining, alongside other advanced manufacturing technologies.
