Job Description
As an Operative, Machinist (Night Shift), you will manufacture precision-engineered components that support the performance of McLaren Racing. Working within a skilled machining team, you will set and operate multi-axis CNC machines to deliver high-quality components safely, accurately, and on time during the night shift operation.
What You'll Do
- Set and operate multi-axis CNC machining centres to manufacture high-precision components.
- Produce parts from engineering drawings and job packs, ensuring quality, accuracy, and on-time delivery.
- Carry out online programming and maintain tooling, program, and inspection records.
- Inspect components to ensure right-first-time quality standards.
- Work closely with manufacturing teams to improve machining methods, productivity, and performance.

Qualifications
What You'll Bring
- Recognised Level 3 apprenticeship or equivalent, with proven CNC machining experience.
- Strong experience setting and operating multi-axis machining centres.
- Experience producing precision components in a high-performance manufacturing environment.
- Online CNC programming capability and a strong understanding of machining processes.
- Knowledge of manufacturing systems, quality standards, and inspection techniques.
