📍 Bideford, North Devon
💷 £37,440 – £45,760 per year – depending on experience & qualifications
🏠 6 months’ accommodation / relocation support available

Are you an experienced CNC Milling Programmer / Setter / Operator looking for a new opportunity with a company that genuinely values its people?
Whiteland Engineering Ltd is a family-run engineering business with a long-standing reputation for quality, reliability and looking after our team. We’re growing and looking for an experienced CNC machinist to join our friendly and supportive workshop in beautiful North Devon 🌊
🔩 What you’ll be doing:
- Programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines
- Manufacturing high-precision components to tight tolerances
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Carrying out quality checks and maintaining production documentation
- Supporting continuous improvement and problem-solving
- Working as part of a close-knit, skilled engineering team 🤝

👨🔧 What we’re looking for:
✅ Previous CNC milling experience
✅ Programming, setting and operating experience
✅ Strong understanding of machining principles, tooling and materials
✅ Engineering apprenticeship or equivalent experience
✅ Experience with Hurco, XYZ or Siemens controls would be highly desirable
✅ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
✅ A proactive approach and pride in producing quality work
