CNC Operator - Altrincham
At Job&Talent, we are recruiting for a CNC operator to work with a leading precision engineering company in Altrincham. You will be responsible for setting up and operating machinery to produce high-quality components in a fast-paced environment.
Shift Patterns
- Alternating weeks: one week day shifts (6am-6pm), next week night shifts (6pm-6am).
- 46-hour paid week with a 30-minute unpaid break.
- Salary paid weekly.
Pay Rates
- 14.88 GBP hourly (increasing to 17.51 GBP after 12 weeks).
- Day shift allowance: 0.43 GBP per hour.
- Night shift allowance: 1.10 GBP per hour.
- 12.00 GBP weekly attendance bonus.
- 50.00 GBP monthly production bonus upon achieving output targets.

Essential Requirements for CNC Operator
- Experience with Fanuc-based CNC Lathe machines such as DOOSAN, HAAS, or OKUMA.
- Ability to read and understand basic G-codes and M-codes.
- Proficiency with manual precision measuring tools including micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
- Experience with automated measuring systems such as CMM and shadowgraphs.

- Set up, program, and operate CNC machines, including lathes and basic 5-axis milling.
- Load raw materials into machines and monitor the machining process.
- Perform quality inspections to ensure parts meet strict technical specifications.
