We now have an exciting opportunity for a CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team in Sheffield.

As CNC Operator you will set, operate and maintain the Robot and 3 Axis Carve to ensure effective and efficient production of components within agreed KPIs.

Key duties and responsibilities:

  • Setting and operating Robot and 3 Axis carver.
  • Manufacturing components to files received within the agreed KPIs.
  • Setting up files on CAD ready to carve.
  • Carrying out basic maintenance of both machines.
  • Maintaining accurate product records.
  • Controlling stock.
  • Quality control.

What are we looking for?

As CNC Operator, you will have the following.

Essential skills

  • GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent)
  • Proven experience as CNC operator
  • Skilled in operating CNC machinery and tooling as well as precision measurement tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings
  • Computer literate with basic understanding of computer programming and CAD/CAM.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritise and manage own workflow.
  • Keen eye for detail
