Location: Portrush, Northern Ireland
Salary: £48,000 – £55,000 + Overtime + Relocation Payment

NEOS Engineering Recruitment are recruiting a CNC Press Brake Team Lead to oversee a growing press brake and sheet-metal production department near Portrush.
This position combines hands-on CNC press brake operation with responsibility for coordinating operators, maintaining quality and achieving production targets.

The Role

  • Lead the press brake team across daily production.
  • Set, program and operate CNC press brake machinery.
  • Allocate work and monitor output.
  • Interpret engineering and sheet-metal drawings.
  • Select tooling and calculate bend sequences.
  • Complete first-off and in-process inspections.
  • Train and support less experienced operators.
  • Coordinate machine maintenance and tooling requirements.
  • Ensure production and safety standards are maintained.
  • Work closely with fabrication and production management.

The Candidate

  • Strong CNC press brake operating experience.
  • Previous team-leading or supervisory experience.
  • Able to program machinery and select tooling.
  • Excellent understanding of bend allowances and sheet-metal fabrication.
  • Able to read detailed engineering drawings.
  • Experience with Amada, Trumpf, Bystronic or similar machinery is beneficial.
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
