ARC Document Solutions UK | Dartford, Kent
Permanent | Full-time
Who We Are
ARC creates print, signage, environmental graphics and document solutions for clients in retail, construction, hospitality, property, events and more. Our client list includes household names such as Netflix, Google, Amazon, Chanel and Harrods. We run production sites in Dartford and Bridgwater, have service locations across the UK, and belong to a network of over 140 sites worldwide. That means we can handle a project from first design to final install, with the reach of a global business and the personal service of a local one.
Hoarding graphics, wall murals, window manifestations, fabric displays and illuminated signs are all part of a normal day for us.
The Opportunity
Our Dartford production team is growing, and we need 2 skilled finishers who take pride in their work. You'll take printed output and turn it into finished, quality-checked products for shops, construction sites, workplaces and events. You'll work alongside our print, production and installation colleagues, and every job you finish needs to be accurate and ready on time.
Hands-on experience running digital flatbed or CNC cutters (such as Zund, Kongsberg, Summa or JWEI) is a must.
What Your Day Will Involve
- Setting up, running and looking after digital flatbed / CNC cutting tables (Zund, Kongsberg, Summa, JWEI) to cut flexible media and rigid boards precisely
- Finishing a wide mix of products: banners, posters, signs, tension fabrics, exhibition and event graphics, vinyl, wallpaper, murals, window and floor graphics, and hoarding panels
- Using other finishing kit such as guillotines, laminators, cutting tables and vinyl application tools
- Trimming, creasing, folding, mounting, laminating, eyeleting, fabric stretching and assembly, all to the job brief
- Applying vinyl and printed graphics to a variety of substrates and surfaces
- Measuring carefully and checking every piece against its specification
- Inspecting completed work for colour, print quality, alignment, trimming and any defects
- Flagging production or quality problems straight away
- Packing finished items securely for collection, delivery or installation
- Keeping your work area tidy, organised and safe
- Hitting deadlines without letting accuracy slip
- Following ARC's health and safety rules and machine operating procedures
- Helping out across production when needed
- Managing your own workload while being part of a close team

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
