Are you a skilled CNC Machinist looking to advance your career with a leading subcontract engineering specialist? An established high-precision manufacturing company based in Maldon is seeking a talented CNC Programmer Setter to join their expanding engineering team. Manufacturing top-tier components and assemblies for diverse industries across the UK, they offer a dynamic environment for dedicated engineering professionals.
Duties
- Efficiently program and set up CNC milling machines in line with job specifications.
- Manufacture high-precision components directly from technical drawings.
- Perform thorough self-inspections to ensure all finished parts strictly meet tight tolerances.
- Write, edit, and optimize CNC programs while preparing machinery based on works orders.

Experience Required
- Experience of programming, setting, and operating CNC milling machinery.
- Hands-on proficiency with Siemens Shopmill and Heidenhain controls.
- Ability to interpret and work from detailed technical engineering drawings.
- Hands-on experience with Fusion 360 CAD/CAM software is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail, proactive work style, and a desire to progress professionally.

What's On Offer
- Salary: £37,000 - £42,000 per annum (depending on experience)
- 40 hours per week early finish on Friday (opening hours - 7.30am to 5pm Monday to Thursday and 2.30pm on Friday)
- 20 days holiday plus bank holidays
