An excellent opportunity for an experienced CNC Programmer Setter Operator & Sliding Head Setter Operator to join a well-established company!
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent.
Salary: Competitive Salary, Negotiable Depending on Experience.
Location: Wolverhampton, West Midlands, WV2.
About The Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for experienced machinists to join one of the UK's leading award-winning manufacturers of high-quality special fasteners.
Due to continued growth and expansion, we currently have two positions available:
- CNC Programmer Setter Operator
- Sliding Head Machine Setter Operator
Key Responsibilities:
- Programming, setting and operating CNC or sliding head machines.
- Producing precision-engineered components to tight tolerances.
- Working from engineering drawings and specifications.
- Selecting appropriate tooling and machining methods.
- Adjusting and optimising existing programmes.
- Creating programmes for new jobs.
- Conducting self-inspection and quality checks throughout production runs.
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship and quality.
- Working effectively as part of a team while demonstrating initiative.
- Operating different machines as required by production demands.

Essential Requirements
Applicants must have:
- Previous experience in CNC programming, setting and operating, or sliding head machine setting and operation.
- Experience using measuring equipment, including micrometers, verniers, calipers and gauges.
- The ability to read and interpret technical engineering drawings, particularly for turned and threaded components.
- A strong understanding of quality standards and inspection procedures.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Working Hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 7:00am – 4:00pm
- Friday: 7:00am – 3:45pm
