Job Title:
Field Service Engineer, Service Engineer, CNC Service Engineer, Multi Skilled Engineer or similar
About the Company:
Working for a UK-based specialist who supplies machine tools and CNC machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation, commission, and maintenance of CNC machine tools and automation equipment
- Experience of fault finding on CNC, drives, controls (PLC), motors
About the Business:
- Well respected, very professional SME engineering business based in the North of England
- Well structured and well planned work with coordinators to ensure the workload is distributed fairly across the service team
- Yorkshire based covering customers mainly within this region

Ideal Candidate:
- Field Service Engineer, Service Engineer, CNC Service Engineer, Multi Skilled Engineer or similar
- Accustomed to travelling to customer manufacturing sites across the Yorkshire region
- Technically astute (Mechanical / Electrical split ideally with an electrical bias)
- Good knowledge of CNC and automated machinery working with drives, motors, PLCs, Control systems (Fanuc, Siemens, Heidenhain)
- Could work in a related industry; Automotive, Food & Process, Distribution, Packaging or similar
- Strong leadership and communication skills to manage and coordinate multiple stakeholders onsite colleagues, sub-contractors, customers, etc.
- Electrical, Mechanical or Manufacturing engineering knowledge, qualifications, or experience working in a technical role
- Able to travel to customer sites with a full UK driving license
