CNC Service Engineer

Breakdowns and Servicing

Electrical Bias

National and International Travel LE2

Starting £50k (OTE £60k+)

Monday to Friday day shifts

Are you a skilled CNC Field Service or Maintenance Engineer with experience working on Mills or Lathes? If so, then please read on..

The Role of Field Service Engineer: To provide Machine Tool Service support to a range of engineering and manufacturing customers in the UK.

  • Undertake an initial training period in Europe to gain specialist machine knowledge and skills development.
  • Develop & maintain working relationships with current customers
  • Provide technical support and service to customers, including fault diagnosis, repairs, and maintenance of the machinery range.
  • Coordinate with UK office and overseas colleagues for scheduling, technical support, and spare parts logistics.
  • Complete service documentation (reports, RAMS, expenses, and other required records) accurately and on time.
  • Maintain company vehicle, tools, IT equipment, and branded professional image.
  • Work independently and as part of a team, upholding high standards of customer service and professionalism.
  • Attend training and development sessions, including UK and occasional international travel.

Minimum Skills / Experience Required - CNC Service Engineer:

  • Holds a HNC-level/ NVQ engineering qualification/certifications or similar
  • Must have experience building, servicing, maintaining, or installing machine tools/ CNC mills or lathes
  • Experience working with Siemens (essential)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Willing to travel and stay away from home both nationally and internationally
  • Ability to work & communicate professionally at customer's premises
  • Must have the right to work in the UK
  • Full clean UK driving licence

Salary/Package: CNC Service Engineer

  • Salary £50,000 DOE
  • Holidays 25 days per annum plus National Bank Holidays
  • Company Vehicle supplied and fuel card
  • Death in Service
  • All expenses paid when travelling
  • Company Mobile phone & Laptop
  • Door-to-door travel
  • Enhanced overtime rate x1.5 times hourly rate
  • Company Pension scheme
  • Monday - Friday day shifts (38.5 hours per week)
