Pertemps Dudley are currently recruiting for 2 experienced CNC Operator/ Setter/Programmers to join a well established engineering business. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced CNC machinists with a strong background in milling, particularly those with experience using Fanuc and Heidenhain controls.

The Role

You will be responsible for operating, setting and programming CNC milling machinery, producing precision-engineered components to specification and maintaining high standards of quality throughout the machining process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operating, setting and programming CNC milling machines
  • Working with Fanuc and Heidenhain controls
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
  • Setting tooling, offsets and machine parameters
  • Producing components to tight tolerances
  • Carrying out quality checks using appropriate measuring equipment
  • Making programme adjustments where required
  • Working to production schedules and deadlines
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience as a CNC Operator / Setter / Programmer
  • Strong CNC milling experience
  • Experience with Fanuc and Heidenhain controls
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Experience setting tooling, offsets and machine parameters
  • Good understanding of precision engineering and tolerances
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

What's on Offer?

  • £15.50 – £20 per hour depending on experience
  • 8am – 4pm Monday to Friday
  • Weekday overtime paid at 1.3x
  • Saturday overtime paid at 1.5x
  • On site parking
