Pertemps Dudley are currently recruiting for 2 experienced CNC Operator/ Setter/Programmers to join a well established engineering business. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced CNC machinists with a strong background in milling, particularly those with experience using Fanuc and Heidenhain controls.
The Role
You will be responsible for operating, setting and programming CNC milling machinery, producing precision-engineered components to specification and maintaining high standards of quality throughout the machining process.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating, setting and programming CNC milling machines
- Working with Fanuc and Heidenhain controls
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Setting tooling, offsets and machine parameters
- Producing components to tight tolerances
- Carrying out quality checks using appropriate measuring equipment
- Making programme adjustments where required
- Working to production schedules and deadlines
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience as a CNC Operator / Setter / Programmer
- Strong CNC milling experience
- Experience with Fanuc and Heidenhain controls
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Experience setting tooling, offsets and machine parameters
- Good understanding of precision engineering and tolerances
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

What's on Offer?
- £15.50 – £20 per hour depending on experience
- 8am – 4pm Monday to Friday
- Weekday overtime paid at 1.3x
- Saturday overtime paid at 1.5x
- On site parking
