CNC Setter / Lathe Operator
Location: Lisburn
Employment Type: Full Time Permanent
Reporting to: Machine Shop Leader
What to Expect Day to Day
An exciting opportunity currently exists for a talented CNC Lathe Setter/Operator within the production machine shop facility of Camlin Technologies, which is the R&D, Engineering and Operations centre for the Camlin Group.
For the position of Setter / Operator you should have proven experience in a CNC Machine Shop environment and knowledge of CNC Lathes, preferably with Haas Fanuc controls. You will be responsible for setting & operating Haas CNC machines for the production of small, medium & large batches of precision components.
Day Shift - Monday to Friday Hours with an early finish on Fridays

- Setting up tools & machines for production
- Carry out machining of components
- Carry out first-off & batch inspection to ensure quality of components
- Make a positive contribution to maintaining a workplace that is healthy, safe, neat and tidy
- Carry out any other duties reasonable within capability as required by your supervisor
Essential Criteria
- Apprenticeship (Or equivalent experience) in CNC Turning
- Experience of Haas CNC Lathes with live tooling
- Ability to use a wide range of measuring equipment
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Experience in working with a wide range of materials
- A strong awareness of health and safety considerations within a machine shop environment
- Be a good team player capable of delivering results under pressure and to strict deadlines
- Ability to work on your own initiative with the minimum of supervision
