What You'll Be Doing

As a CNC Setter/Operator, you will play a key role in ensuring our production cells operate safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Setting and operating CNC turning centres in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Selecting tooling, setting offsets, preparing work holding, and safely proving out new and existing jobs.
  • Producing components to engineering drawings and customer specifications.
  • Performing first-off and in-process inspections using precision measuring equipment.
  • Troubleshooting machining issues, responding to machine alarms, and maintaining production output.
  • Working closely with the production and engineering teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintaining high standards of housekeeping, organisation, and workplace safety.
