Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 per annum (Depending on experience)

About the Role
We are seeking a multi-skilled individual to join our client's modern machine shop.
This position offers a unique opportunity to progress into a dual role, acting as the crucial link between the commercial office and the manufacturing floor. The role will entail being:
- An experienced CNC Programmer/Setter/Operator (3, 4, and 5-axis CNC Milling) looking to expand their knowledge into quality inspection and Aberlink CMM programming.
And, over time, developing into:
- An experienced Quality Inspector who possesses some CNC machining and programming experience.

Key Responsibilities
- CNC Machining: Program, set, and operate 3, 4, and 5-axis CNC Milling machines.
- Quality Control: Conduct in-process and final inspections using Aberlink Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM).
- Technical Support & Coordination: Interpret engineering drawings to ensure production aligns with customer specifications, and assist in coordinating day-to-day office operations within a technical environment.
- Communication: Professionally represent the business to customers and suppliers, building strong relationships and handling communications with confidence.
Ideal Skills & Experience
- Technical Foundation: An engineering qualification or proven hands-on experience in an engineering environment.
- Machining Knowledge: Strong understanding of machining principles, with Fanuc-based controls and Haas machinery.
- CAD/CAM Software: Practical experience with EdgeCam, OneCnc, Alphacam, or Fusion 360 is highly advantageous.
- Quality & Inspection: Proven background in component inspection and familiarity with CMM tools.
- Office & IT Skills: Solid understanding of engineering office workflows, good IT literacy, and experience using Microsoft Office & Outlook.
- Autonomy: Ability to work with minimal supervision, follow instructions accurately, and thrive in both a high-precision workshop and a professional office environment.
