CNC Turner - Permanent & Contract available - Motorsport
Weekday night shifts & Weekend day shifts available
We currently have a number of CNC Turning roles available based in Thatcham, Berkshire.
We're looking for experienced CNC Turners to join one of our most prestigious Motorsport clients, who are currently going through an exciting period of expansion.
Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for setting, operating, and running CNC Turners to produce transmission components.
- This role requires a high level of attention to detail and a strong understanding of machine setup methodologies.
- You will be working on highly complex components, ensuring strict adherence to GD&T requirements.
Requirements
- Knowledge of general tool pathways & ISO Fanuc G-codes is essential.
- Experience with macros and probing programming would be advantageous.
- Ideally, you will have completed a formal apprenticeship and have general engineering experience including turning and toolmaking.
- If you have experience within the automotive, aerospace, or motorsport industries, this would be a huge advantage.
- You'll be able to understand comprehensive engineering drawings and instructions, be able to visualize finished products, and have a good understanding of the properties of the materials we work with.
- Good levels of concentration are a must, as are being able to work both unsupervised and as part of a team.
- We're looking for individuals with a self-sufficient attitude, good work ethic, and the desire to always improve.

Shifts
- Weekends = Friday to Sunday: 06:00 - 18:30
- Nights = Monday to Thursday: 19:00 - 06:00
